Film synopsis:
“Kerity, la maison des contes” is the Franco-Italian animation. The plot follows a boy who must find a way to confront the evil witch in order to save the favorite characters in the books on the bookshelves at his home. The characters are all from famous children’s books – Little Red Riding Hood, Alice of wonderland, the wooden boy Picocchio, and Puss In Boots.
This animation is the third feature by director Dominique Monfery – the French filmmaker who grew up after more than 10 years working with Walt Disney animation studios in the 1990s. It was launched at the Rome Film Festival and won special recognition at the 2010 Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The film attracts kids by beautiful drawings and an excellent adventure story.
