The French Institute in HCM City gladly invites you all to the contemporary circus show “Becalmed!” by the French company Be Clown.
Inspired by the sea and the world of fairy tales, the show will tells a timeless story about a crew of 9 “clown sailors”, giving audiences a surreal, poetic experience with visually-appealing performances by the clowns with live music in the background.
With the duration of about an hour, “Beclamed!” is a story without narration, set in an imagined 7.5m yatch. Different circus acts will be performed during the show – including pole climbing, trapeze, juggling, acrobats – and the will be accompanied by different types of instruments.

Be Clown is a company that produces and broadcasts – in groups – live poetic shows for all groups of public with the art of the contemporary clown in the center, mixed with circus arts, theater and live music. They often offer to perform to disadvantaged people such as orphans, refugees, street children… The company also organizes events (workshops, festivals…) and training sessions.
