After the success of its first edition at the beginning of April, Open Shorts continues this month with the independent films that respond to the current issues of our times.
The second edition of Open Shorts will feature 03 short films from 03 young filmmakers:
• Un Weekend – Director Nguyen Diep Thuy Anh
Nominee of Golden Lotus Bud Awards 2017
• Ting – Director Hoang Giang
1st Prize of a student film contest hosted by the Hanoi Academy of Threatre and Cinema
• Lẫn – Director Nguyen Ngoc Mai
Winner of Silver Kite Awards 2017
Winner of Golden Lotus Bud Awards 2017
And Daily Train, a new special short film produced in Japan during a workshop in And Action Asia, screenwriter Nguyen Diep Thuy Anh – Tran Thanh.
The event is supported by the Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF) of Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam.
