You are invited to the exhibition “Mien co tich” (Fairyland) by Nguyen Quoc Huy, taking place from 31 Oct to 17 Nov at 49 Nguyen Du, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi.
“Fairyland” includes 29 lacquer paintings created by Nguyen Quoc Huy, expressed in the muted yet radiant light of eggshells and the fresh, vibrant colors of flowers and leaves. 29 artworks that will remind the audience about a dreamy world, with the simplicity and gentle air of an age-old fairyland in the middle of Vietnamese countryside landscape.
Nguyen Quoc Huy was born in 1971 in Hanoi and is one of the artists that succeeded in bringing a new breath of air into traditional lacquer paintings with exceptional techniques.
