You are invited to Diwali and Dussehra Celebration 2018.
The programme is as below:
– 1800hrs – 1930hrs: Cookery show, Indian dolls corner, charity bazaar, henna stall, food stall and saree draping.
– 1930hrs onwards: Garba dance performance (from the Indian state of Gujarat)
Diwali is the Indian Festival of Lights and Dussehra marks the victory of Lord Ram and his joyous return to his people and Kingdom. The two festivals are celebrated to mark the victory of light over darkness, of good over evil and of right over might. These Indian festivals are also celebrated in many Southeast Asian countries.
The Centre wishes to provide meaningful cultural immersion experiences to Vietnamese and other friends of India. The entrance to Diwali and Dussehra Celebration is free of charge and open to all age groups.
