Last steps before Dao Xuan Festival takes place

Hanoi Grapevine has visited Gam Troi Valley (Hoa Binh province) where the contemporary art festival Dao Xuan 9 will take place from March 23rd to 24th, 2019.
There are 5 main stages scattered in the valley’s space. More than 300 local and international artists will perform a variety of arts including music, dance, poetry… Especially, there will be about 150 indigenous farmers participating in the performance.
The organizers have prepared places to serve food on a large area along the stream and around the stages. For those who want to fully enjoy the 24-hour-long event, the organizers have set up nearly 1,000 small and large tents for people to stay overnight. In addition, the audience can also rest in hammocks that are hung along a hillside.
At the end of the press conference, artist Dao Anh Khanh – general director of the festival, shared that in addition to being granted all kinds of performance permits, Dao Xuan Chin also has very active support from the local police force. He hopes visitors coming to Gam Troi Valley will be completely comfortable to enjoy the beauty of art and nature.
