The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam proudly presents the JF Garage Concert No.19 by Hanoi Brass Band & Friends in Hanoi on Friday 19 April 2019.
Hanoi Brass Band was formed in 1998 when the original members were students of the Hanoi Conservatory of Music (the present Vietnam National Academy of Music). In 2008, the band was officially named as Hanoi Brass Band with some changes of the members.
The band consists of 6 professional musicians from Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, Military University of Culture and Arts, Brass Ensemble of Department of Public Security, and their instruments are Horn, Trombone, Tuba, Trumpet and Drums. In addition to the members, Flute and Clarinet will also join the concert.
In this concert, a music instrument repair technician from YAMAHA Corporation in Japan will introduce about each brass and woodwind instruments. Each instrument has their similarities and disparities. We hope that the audience can enjoy listening to the music and seeing the players more by understanding the characteristics of the musical instruments.
Free ticket distribution:
– Each person can get maximum 2 tickets
– Date: from 12:00, 11 April (Thursday)
