From the organizer:
“The Stories” exhibition, marking its first anniversary in Ho Chi Minh City. Featuring 18 oil paintings by influential Vietnamese artists such as Lê Phổ, Đỗ Phấn, Thành Chương, Doãn Hoàng Kiên, Trần Thế Vĩnh, and the Japanese artist Masahiko Tsubota, the exhibition promises a profound and emotionally rich artistic experience.
Each Painting, Thousands of Stories, is a voice of the artist’s soul. Through lines, colors, and shapes, the artists have expressed “the stories” about their personal perspectives, humanity, the impermanence of life, and their own emotional responses to life.
The exhibition “The Stories” is not only a reunion between Vietnamese artists but also a link between two East Asian cultures.
Masahiko Tsubota is one of the artists who has accompanied A-Cube Gallery (TomuraLee’s Gallery in Seoul, Korea) during his artistic activities, which will create a special highlight, enriching the overall picture of the exhibition “The Stories” – the exhibition celebrating the 1st anniversary of TomuraLee Gallery’s establishment in Ho Chi Minh City.
