Book lovers, let’s gather to celebrate the Year of the Snake with an abundance of graphic novels, shall we? Reading Room #2 will bring a diverse collection of graphic novels with diverse topics, languages and target audience, selected and introduced by Tra Nhu – averagetea and Du Bút!
Along with a Reading Room full of comics from around the world, Du Bút will present a talk titled ‘Graphic novel: Comics for Adults, Why Not?’ This presentation will help you understand more about graphic novels in the global publishing market and in Vietnam, about the history and development of graphic novels as a format. Du Bút will also present a pop-up shop with graphic novels, comics, books and art books – all meticulously and sincerely made.
The event is free of charge. Please order drinks and pay in advance at the counter.
