Hoàng Huệ Phương is an artist who graduated with a degree in Oil Painting from the Faculty of Painting, Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

In 2024, Hoàng Huệ Phương participated in several group exhibitions, including “Chuyện Đình trong phố” (Hàng Bạc Ward People’s Committee), “Inspiring Tradition” (Pan Pacific Hanoi), “far away is the horizon” (The Muse Artspace), and “Dialogue with Ukiyo-e Paintings” organised by the Japan Cultural Centre in Hanoi and Hoi An. At the end of 2024, she held her solo exhibition “Trời buồn gió cao” at MAI Gallery. eatures over 50 artworks, employing a variety of materials and sizes, with half of them being created by Phương in the year 2024.

She also won Third Prize at the competition “Sắc màu nguồn cội – Inspiring Tradition” organised by Pan Pacific Hotel Group in collaboration with Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

HANOI GRAPEVINE’s FINEST is an annual event that honors contemporary art projects in Vietnam. The event is organized and nominated by Hanoi Grapevine and the general audience.

Entering its 6th year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest aims to go beyond an annual honouring event to become a contemporary archive of Vietnam’s art and cultural landscape, as well as a foundational platform to promote interdisciplinary collaborations both domestically and internationally, towards an open, fair, and transparent ecosystem.

This year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest 2024-2025 is divided into two major categories: Honouring and Recognition. Nominations are selected based on sets of criteria that aim to highlight the developmental significance and scale of impact, including activity level, community impact, creativity, organisational capability and artistic quality.
