Fresh-faced Organisers 2024-2025: D16 Creative Class

D16 CREATIVE CLASS

Founded in: 2022

D16 Creative Class is a model of creative art class with a series of art courses and workshops held monthly, covering a variety of subjects including Painting, Ceramics, Calligraphy, Origami, Fashion Illustration and Flower Arrangement. The goal is to introduce various art forms and the beauty of culture to the community in Hanoi, regardless of age, gender, nationality or profession.

In addition to educational activities, D16 also organises art events such as exhibitions and mini concerts to discover and support new talents, connect artists with the public, and build a community that appreciates and understands art and culture.

In 2024, D16 hosted several notable activities and events, including the solo exhibition “A Rhythm of Memory” by artist Vũ Tuấn Việt, the violin solo concert “Back to Bach” by violinist Nguyễn Mỹ Hương, and the solo exhibition “Parallel Realities” by artist Vũ Tuấn Việt at Quang San Art Museum (HCMC).

HANOI GRAPEVINE’s FINEST is an annual event that honors contemporary art projects in Vietnam. The event is organized and nominated by Hanoi Grapevine and the general audience.

Entering its 6th year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest aims to go beyond an annual honouring event to become a contemporary archive of Vietnam’s art and cultural landscape, as well as a foundational platform to promote interdisciplinary collaborations both domestically and internationally, towards an open, fair, and transparent ecosystem.

This year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest 2024-2025 is divided into two major categories: Honouring and Recognition. Nominations are selected based on sets of criteria that aim to highlight the developmental significance and scale of impact, including activity level, community impact, creativity, organisational capability and artistic quality.
