Fresh-faced Organisers 2024-2025: Hà Nội FM

Hà Nội FM is a poetry project dedicated to Hanoi, aimed at celebrating art, culture and poetry in the heart of the city through collaborations with art and cultural collectives in Hanoi, bringing fresh experiences of poetry and Hanoi to the broader community.

In 2024, Hà Nội FM initiated and coordinated 26 art and cultural events focusing on poetry, including the event series “Đêm thơ trong thành phố” (lit. Poetry nights in the city) which introduced over 50 songs and 20 poems to more than 200 audience members. The project also collaborated with the Temple of Literature’s Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities to organise 04 poetry workshops and 01 literary discussion; partnered with Vietnam Sightseeing to hold 04 poetry-music nights; worked with Nghiện Joke stand-up comedy group to host 02 events titled “Vào Bar ra chuyện” (lit. Into the bar, out with stories), and launched the project “Tình từ Tứ phủ” (lit. Love from the Four Palaces) with Magic of Color, celebrating the worship of the Mother Goddesses through a series of 03 experiential events. Additionally, Hà Nội FM partnered with cultural collectives to organise the event “Hợp đồng mùa thu”, marking the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s liberation.

HANOI GRAPEVINE’s FINEST is an annual event that honors contemporary art projects in Vietnam. The event is organized and nominated by Hanoi Grapevine and the general audience.

Entering its 6th year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest aims to go beyond an annual honouring event to become a contemporary archive of Vietnam’s art and cultural landscape, as well as a foundational platform to promote interdisciplinary collaborations both domestically and internationally, towards an open, fair, and transparent ecosystem.

This year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest 2024-2025 is divided into two major categories: Honouring and Recognition. Nominations are selected based on sets of criteria that aim to highlight the developmental significance and scale of impact, including activity level, community impact, creativity, organisational capability and artistic quality.
