Minh Nguyễn is a writer and curator based between HCMC and New York City. Minh currently works as a curator at the Dogma Collection – a gallery and exhibition space in HCMC. In addition to exhibitions, she is expanding Dogma’s focus to educational programs and research fellowships, as well as maintaining support for contemporary artists through Dogma Prize.

In early 2025, she curated “A Radial System”, an exhibition that brought together historic images through unexpected presentations, alongside contemporary works to look at the relationship between political conflict and photography – how they shape and transform each other. Dogma also partnered with Ném Space to present a screening series as part of this programme.

As a writer, Minh Nguyễn generally focuses on contemporary art, cinema, and the relationships between aesthetic form and political position. In 2024, she wrote “The Postsocialist Condition” for e-flux journal, where she also works as an editor.

In early 2025, Minh Nguyễn curated “A Radial System”, an exhibition that brought together historic images through unexpected presentations, alongside contemporary works to look at the relationship between political conflict and photography – how they shape and transform each other.

In 2024, she co-curated the exhibition “Making a Message: An Exhibition from the Dogma Collection” with curator Ngoc Lien Nguyen, with the Vietnam Philatelic Research Scholarship program included in the exhibition.

HANOI GRAPEVINE’s FINEST is an annual event that honors contemporary art projects in Vietnam. The event is organized and nominated by Hanoi Grapevine and the general audience.

Entering its 6th year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest aims to go beyond an annual honouring event to become a contemporary archive of Vietnam’s art and cultural landscape, as well as a foundational platform to promote interdisciplinary collaborations both domestically and internationally, towards an open, fair, and transparent ecosystem.

This year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest 2024-2025 is divided into two major categories: Honouring and Recognition. Nominations are selected based on sets of criteria that aim to highlight the developmental significance and scale of impact, including activity level, community impact, creativity, organisational capability and artistic quality.
