Are you a sommelier, bartender, or F&B professional with a passion for Italian wines ⁉ This is the competition made for you!

Vietnam Best Sommelier in Italian Wines 2025 (VBSIW for short) is the first national competition in Vietnam dedicated to Italian wines.

The competition is organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam and the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, with technical support from the Association of Italian Professional Sommeliers (ASPI) and the Vietnam Sommelier Association (VSA).

This prestigious competition promises to be a professional playground where true talents will be discovered, trained, and celebrated. It also aims to promote the understanding of Italian wine and culture while strengthening the connection between Italian wine producers and the expert community in Vietnam.

You are eligible to join if you:
– Are a sommelier, bartender, or F&B professional with at least 1 year of experience
– Are between 21 and 40 years old
– Preferably have knowledge of Italian wines

Competition Structure:
– Preliminary Round & Training – June 2025: Online & Offline
– Semi-finals – July 8, 2025: Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City
