Module 7 – Design Styles Convergence
Design Styles Convergence
– Furniture, Accessories and Works of Art –
05 Sept-11 Oct 2008
Module7 will showcase and promote home décor, furniture, accessories and works of art through an exhibit “Design Styles Convergence” at Module7 Gallery in order to present the various styles used in the Module7 concept. The showcased styles range from natural, minimalist, ethnic, contemporary, oriental and arise from the designer’s creation as well as the ethnic minorities’ lifestyle items and sculptures.
The design evolves ceaselessly. In my initiative, I am at a point where I like several styles instead of a unique one. I like all of these styles which reflect harmony, simplicity, purity and refinement. I like all which evokes the space, the journey, the distant cultures, the mysterious and the authentic.
The stake is not the perusal of a minimalist interior or the wealth of a luxurious decoration of a Thousand and One Nights, but it is to find the composition, the good “feeling”. It is to leave the stereotype of the matched things, the tone on tone to adopt a “well-balanced disorder”. This represents for me a step towards another order, the order which always exists in the nature, where things coexist.
” Design styles convergence ” is an essay of all the Module 7 team in the research for this new order so that it finds an echo in the research for each for a new lifestyle, a new style of internal decoration.
