Here is the story of urban phenomena in Indonesia. Through a process of small narrations, the five works focus on new approaches in documentary, where the subjective experience of the filmmaker plays a dominant role in the storytelling.
These works are created by the Jakarta based art group Forum Lenteng. Forum Lenteng is an egalitarian non-profit organization, founded in 2003 as a vehicle to examine problems of culture in society, in order to support and widening chances to empower social and cultural studies in Indonesia.

A young man wakes up chained to metal chair in a room painted a sickening shade of pink and illuminated by a single blinding block of neon lights placed at his right. A razorblade hangs on a string before him, and sharp pink pencils are aimed at his left eye and stomach. He doesnot where he is or why he is there. Periodically, a beautiful young woman dressed in floral summer dress enters the room and performs cruel and calculated acts of seemingly senseless torture. Who is she? Why is she doing this? What has he done to deserve this? And most importantly, will he survive?
