hummm, shall i be the one get the (singed) cd
1. probably i’ m the 1st one post a comment here (unless someone is up at 1.30 in the morning and type faster then me)
2. the cd cover looks terrific, hey!
3. i went to the show at L’espace and loved it, i would be more than happy to own the cd…hummm and listen to Legnini’s reconstruction of Shadow Of Your Smile
oops,
Shadow Of Your Smile is not on this cd, but well new cd of of Eric Legnini, that will make me thrill ;)
No doubt the concert was absolutely fantastic. I remember half of the time, I just closed my eyes, and let those wonderful sounds get their way to the heart. That is what music can do, opening heart, healing soul, inspiring head… Having the CD will be like having something to remember the moments by, moments music teaches me that life is so beautiful and we should dance around life with abandon, to truly understand what life is.
Let’s face the music and dance…
I missed this amazing concert…Uhmm, I guess that’s why I want the CD so bad. :)
Great pics and review btw! Cheers!
I was there but my best friend wasn’t. I want to share this music with her and catch her expression when she listens for the first time!
I like the facial expression of the double bass player. LOL. They were just amazing. Keep it coming L’Espace.
Yeah, he is great, fabulous and sensitive as well. If you a fan of classical music, u will understand what does this mean. In my opinion, his music quite a like the Chopin, It’s quite gooey, damp but also imposing. And guess what, he totally drive me crazy. I mean, I am fan of Classic music of Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Vivandi (esspecially 4 seasons:) and everytimes, I listen to these master-pieces, I feel that there is a stream, a spring or even a river, completely run inside me, made me sublime, sway me with the music. Amazing feeling that none of other music can do. Eric and his Jazz is different. I am not familiar with Jazz so much. I just have a copy of Don’t know why (Norah Jones) in my BB and that’s all. I thought, well, Jazz how blue, how sorrow it is. But, when at this room with Eric. WHOA, He change my point of view. He absolutely swept me out of the sea :)) not like the river in the classic. A new feeling, you know. A feeling that I could not express with words, It’s must be speechless language, i suppose. In last words, I though he nail it, he know how to dig out your soul like classical music did to myself. U must listen to his music. LIVE once in your life. That’s all I want to share.

It was such a regret that I couldn’t go to the show, that’s one of the reasons why I want this CD so badly :D
Maybe I can never sing any song right, but I know how to enjoy true music. Whenever listen to a jazz melody, I find joys, I find peace in my mind. I find all the emotions I’ve never felt before, emotions that can’t be described by words.
In Vietnam, jazz is still in its early stage of development. It is sad that not many Vietnameses listen to jazz.
If I was lucky enough to own this CD, I would not keep it to myself, I would share it with others , to let them fall in love with this wonderful genre of music, just like I did!
Well, as Iam a fan, I can still listen him on tsfjazz or buy his CD when I come back to my country. But It is so rare to get a disk signed. Usually at the end of the concert, we can buy some. What a pity this time!
Thanks for you, it may change soon…
