KVT – Silken Offerings at Studio Tho
Studio Tho was graced by a visit from the Grapevine’s correspondent/reviewer/commentator KVT, who has some thoughts about the current exhibition there.
“Studio Tho is one of the few reasons I bother to go near the tourist streets of the Old Quarter. When I first heard a year abouts ago that a commercial gallery for good contemporary art was opening behind Handspan’s office in Ma May I thought it was a joke, but now the rather trendy little gallery with its air of funky sophistication has proven that, on its best days, it is one of the best places in Hanoi to see challenging art by young, challenging artists.”
