Solo exhibition by Pham Van Truong, winner of the CDEF Talent Prize for Performance Art 2008.

My country has gone through so much from the wars that even though those wounds might have seemed to heal on the surface, they are still bleeding quitely deep inside. So many people and their families have suffered from severe bombings, including mine. The smashed mirrors stand for those broken souls – ones who died during the wars; and ones who lost their loved ones in the wars. In a way, they stand for us too – ones who have survived and are stil living today…
