Red River Delta – home of the Vietnamese culture and civilisation – has conserved a great treasure of folk songs.
As part of Manzi’s “Old sounds of New days” concert series, “Encounter three: ‘From the Delta’” will introduce the most enchanting folk melodies from the Red River Delta: Trống quân, Cò lả, Ví, Quan họ together with other traditional chamber music pieces such as Ca trù, Chầu văn and Xẩm.
Featuring masters Xuân Hoạch, Thanh Hoài, Thanh Bình.
