“Spring Honoring National Culture” Festival 2014

In order to honor Vietnam’s diverse and featured culture, the festival was inspired by and promotes Ethnic Culture Day on April 19 and the Hung King festival on March 10 as in Lunar calendar.

Organized by the Vietnam Journalist Association , in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, the Vietnam advertising Association and Vietnam Professional Villages, the event has a range of activities planned, including a trade fair to introduce traditional products from villages, as well as music and art exhibitions. It will include charity fund-raising for underprivileged children. “Spring honoring national culture” Festival 2014 is a great occasion for visitors to participate and discover traditional local activities, especially the culture of Northern community in Vietnam.

What to see?

– Vietnamese goods Expo.
– Craft villages and featured traditional products exhibition: Wooden statues of 18 Arhats, collection of traditional costume Ao dai of the designer – artisan Lan Huong, Son Dong art wood, Van Phuc silk, Bat Trang ceramics, traditional instruments, Dong Ho painting, Chu Dau pottery and honor the artian Bui Thi Hy (15th century), etc.
– Featured cuisine made by local artisans.
– Music and art performance: Vietnamese calligraphy, Hue royal court music, Quan Ho folk songs, water puppet show, etc.
– Traditional games and sports: human chess, bamboo dance, stilt walking, wrestling. swinging, kiting, etc.
– Traditional sticky – rice – cake cooking competition: Banh Chung, Banh Day (traditional square and round sticky rice cakes) cooking competition.
– Incense offering to the Hung King. Praying and blessing.

Special price only on April 09th 2014 at Bao Son Paradise Theme Park: 150,000 – 220,000 VND per ticket including entrance fee to aquarium & zoo and enjoying unlimited exciting games.
