Domino Art Fair is the biggest commercial art fair held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with an aim to bring arts closer to art lovers in Vietnam. The 6-minute video below recaps significant activities during the Hanoi leg of the fair that took place on January 20-25.
Featuring more than 300 art works in various forms and media (paintings, sculptures, gifts, jewelry; oil, acrylic, lacquer, etc.) by about 160 talented artists in three regions in Vietnam, Domino Art Fair is the first of a series of art fairs organized by the independent art organization RealArt within its strategic framework to develop a national art fair brand for Vietnam, which can compete with other regional reputed art fair brands like Singapore Affordable Art Fair, Hong Kong Art Basel, Singapore Art Stage, etc.
The video presents some of the artworks on display at the fair, featuring introductory remarks from painter Trinh Minh Tien – founder of RealArt and Domino Art Fair, scenes from the opening ceremony and an art experiment day with students from Gateway International School, as well as interviews with the fair’s attendants.
