About artist and her work:
Malvina Odrobny is a Polish Canadian artist who draws her inspiration from the swell and heave of Hanoi where nature and humanity clash, compete and compliment one another in a beautiful chaotic war of worlds. Her work explores themes of displacement, identity and impermanence. This is Malvina’s first solo exhibition and was curated by Michael Hytinen. Malvina began painting thanks to all the incredible trees and plants that she has lived amongst and been in love with for the past four years.
