Vietnamese Cinema at Osaka Asian Film Festival 2016
Six Vietnamese films, including the blockbuster “Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass”, will be screened at Osaka Asian Film Festival 2016 in Osaka city, Japan.
The festival will take place from March 4 to 13, with a focus on Asian films.
A selection of films about homecoming will be showcased as part of the festival’s 11th edition this year.
The Asian participating countries include Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea and Mongolia.
The festival will open with “Wansei Back Home”, a film by Taiwanese director Huang Ming-cheng, following by 13 highlighted films in competition, and will finally come to an end on March 13 with “The Mohican Comes Home” by Okita Shuichi.
