The event “True Italian Taste – Mediterranean Diet” is a project realized by the Italian government on 40 countries aiming to promote to the world the cuisine heritage of the Mediterranea in general and of Italy in particular.

In 2019, ICHAM and the Italian Embassy are proud to be the first to organize this event in Vietnam with the idea of bringing the public to explore “Italian cuisine journey through the ages” and understand how the Italians cook in their daily life that make it a cultural heritage. Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han is chosen to be the brand ambassador of “True Italian Taste – Mediterranean Diet” in Vietnam with the mission of promoting Italian cuisine to Vietnamese people.

In a pure Italian atmosphere, immerse yourself in amazing culinary cultural activities:

– “Exhibition of Italian cuisine journey through the ages”: Audience will have a detailed picture of the history of the development of Italian cuisine through 5 important stages, the elements that create the unique characteristics of Italian cuisine.
– “Experience the taste of true Italian cuisine”: The most original Italian dishes will be selected by ICHAM from Vietnam’s leading Italian restaurants.
– “Discuss with experts about the dining style of Mediterranean people”: Understand why Italy was voted the healthiest country in the world in 2017 and Italian cuisine becomes such a world’s cultural heritage.
– In addition, participants can also visit booths displaying Italian products and enjoy the music-filled atmosphere
