As a part of VFCD’s Track 03 – Living Laboratories, “Invisible Reflection” is a collaborative exhibition presented by AsiaHues and Amanaki, curated by art historian Vu Huy Thong, with coordination and advisory by Vin Gallery. This special showcase brings together 15 emerging artistic voices from across the three regions of Vietnam.
In this exhibition, the artists turn their lenses inward, transitioning from simulating the external world to expressing their inner consciousness. They dismantle familiar formal structures to boldly confront the psychological and social pressures of the modern metropolis. The artworks reveal distinct psychological responses to our era: seeking quiet refuge in minimalist abstraction, expressing fracture through distorted deconstruction, and delving into the deep unconscious realms of memory and loneliness.
“Invisible Reflection” places the viewer in an active state of self-discovery, proving that. art does not merely save reality, but rather saves the way we confront ourselves.
