The Experimental Digital Arts Panel, is a part of Track 03 – Living Laboratories by VFCD, where artists and designers explore how digital media can help us better understand ourselves, our communities, and the world around us.
From preserving the centuries-old tradition of “Xẩm Chợ” singing through immersive interactive technology, transforming human emotions into light, sound, and shared experiences in “Hỉ, Nộ, Ái, Ố: Phổ Cảm Xúc”, reimagining family storytelling as a living archive that grows across generations through “Living Familial Archives”, to reflecting on while “Tetromino” migration and the meaning of home in Vietnam’s changing cities in “Tetromino” – these projects challenge how we connect with culture and with one another.
More than a showcase of digital artworks, this session is a conversation about how technology can preserve heritage, reveal personal stories, and create new connections between the past, present, and future. Come discover how creativity and technology are shaping new ways of experiencing the past, understanding the present, and imagining the future.
