The National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio and EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) continue to introduce excellent documentary films to audiences in Hanoi (18 – 26/09/2026) and Ho Chi Minh City (18 – 25/09/2026).

This year, the European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival welcomes a first-time participant – Norway – alongside long-standing participants Austria, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Finland, and Belgium (Wallonia-Brussels).

Audiences will discover nine documentaries produced by the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio, eleven international works, and five films by young independent Vietnamese filmmakers. Many of them have won prestigious awards.

The European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival has come a long way and this year, the Film Festival hopes to welcome a large audience like previous festivals.
