Work Room Four
31 Alley 67 Tô Ngọc Vân, Hà Nội

From the organizer:

Tourismism examines how landscapes, communities, and everyday life are transformed by the growing demands of this developing brand of consumptive travel. Developed after observations from living in Sapa for a period of time, this body of work was developed in response to the lived experience of first visiting a place and then the realities of living there.

The work explores his thoughts and observations, the quiet conflicts between economic development, extractive power, and the transformation of both the natural environment and local cultural structures.
