From the organizer:
Discover a new way to experience a locality through fieldwork and zine-making.
The workshop begins with an introduction to mapping methods and a fieldwork framework developed by Lon Xon Studio through its ethnographic and field research in the Mekong Delta.
Participants will head out into the city to gather materials, impressions, and conversations that don’t usually make it onto a map. As we walk through the alleys of Xom Chieu Ward, we will observe, listen, and collect pieces of daily life to craft our own zines.
By the end of the session, individual zines will be combined into a collective zine-collage – a shared record built from unique personal experiences of the area.
Register now to step out into the streets with us, observe our city through a new lens and craft your own unique memories!
