As a part of VFCD’s Track 03 – Living laboratories, 22+1 is a multimedia exhibition that explores creativity as a living and evolving practice through the architecture, design and urban stories of Ho Chi Minh City and southern Vietnam. Featuring photography, documentary films and architectural models, the exhibition presents the work and philosophies of 22 local and international architects and designers whose practices continue to shape the region’s changing cultural and urban landscape.
Aligned with the theme of Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design’s Living Festival 2026, the exhibition positions architecture as an ongoing dialogue between people, communities, culture and place.
Through the visual storytelling of Chimnon Studio, visitors are invited to discover the creative processes, collaborations and lived experiences that inform each project, revealing how design evolves through continuous exchange with its social and environmental context.
