“When I looked at all the things, the tools, the machines, the vehicles that are used and then discarded, a dead tree, an ugly old building, a street, a chaotic city, I wondered if I could give these things a new life through a way of seeing which was my own, which was aesthetic. From this single isolated thought something developed, like a domino effect, like a spreading oil stain, something that I consciously chose not to control with reason and that developed totally freely and independently of theories and ideologies about people and societies, but which is nonetheless inseparably connected to them.” – Le Quang Ha
