As part of Track 3: Living Laboratories by VFCD, the exhibition invites participants to join an art tour for the exhibition, featuring works by artists Vo An Khanh, An-My Le, Truong Cong Tung, Ngoc Nau, Nguyen Trinh Thi, Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Tuan Mami, Nguyen Thai Tuan, and Phan Anh.
Curated by Vicky Do, the exhibition develops from an ongoing thesis conceived in the form of an Atlas. Centering landscape not as a passive backdrop, the exhibition opens an archeological inquiry into “counter-places” – places that exist alongside and beneath officially recognized places, where history, geography, and human emotions constantly collide and shift.
Through this exhibition, participants are invited to unlock a fresh observational lens, unearthing layers of urban memory with the featuring artists and conceiving landscape as a living entity marked by the traces of time.
