From Heritage Space:
Heritage Space is proud to announce the launch of our annual “Month of Arts Practice” 2019, named BEYOND DESTRUCTION.
Month of Arts Practice, abbreviated as MAP, is an annual art project of Heritage Space. MAP was initiated by artist Tran Trong Vu in 2015 with a view to creating a space for composing and developing contemporary art on the basis of cooperation and interaction among Vietnamese and international artists.
The overall theme of MAP 2019 is “BEYOND DESTRUCTION”. Seven renowned international artists and 8 talented emerging ones from Vietnam will participate in the project with the support of 6 art experts, who are curators, researchers, art critics and writers with years of experience in the international art scene. Their participation will enhance the academic discussion activities and the technical quality of the project. Along with the creative activities, there will be a sequence of events in MAP 2019 including Exhibition, Workshop, Artists’ Talk, Studio opening, Roundtable Discussion, Camping, Art trip and Public program.
MAP 2019 will consist of two phases:
Art Practice & Exchange: from October 8th to November 22nd, 2019
Grand Exhibition: from November 23rd to December 18th, 2019
