Vu Dan Tan has passed away

Sad news: Vu Dan Tan, born in 1946, passed away on Wed, 14 Oct 2009 after a long fight with cancer.
Tan was an important figure in the contemporary art scene, one of the first to explore new and experimental ways of working. Together with his wife Natalia Kraevskaia, he founded Salon Natasha which played a central role in the development of Hanoi’s contemporary art scene. His work has been exhibited and collected around the world. We will miss him.
The funeral will be held on Mon, 19 Oct, 11.30am-2.30pm, at the Public Funeral Service, 125 Phung Hung Str., Hanoi.
