In keeping with the 2010 party spirit, the Australian Embassy is proud to present “Once in a 1000 years: An Australian Gift to Hanoi”, a celebration of Australia-Vietnam relations through exhibitions, performances and exchanges featuring Australia’s proud Indigenous heritage.

1. Artist-Student Exchange

Talk with Indigenous didgeridoo player, artist and keynote speaker Jeremy Donovan. Donovan is a descendant from both the Kuku Yalanji tribe of Far Northern Queensland and the Gumbaynngirr tribe of Northern New South Wales. Widely acclaimed as one of the leading indigenous didgeridoo players of Australia, Jeremy’s exceptional skill with the didgeridoo, and extensive knowledge of his cultural heritage has earned him the recognition of his peers as a master storyteller and performer.

Workshop with Indigenous Hip Hop Projects (IHHP) – a team of young talented artists has turned a seemingly unreality into a reality, mixing traditional Indigenous culture with modern Hip Hop to make a unique Australian Indigenous Hip Hop. Please remember to bring your ID card with you.

2. Art exhibition & Concert
