Affordable ‘Art For You’ in Hanoi

After the success of the first ‘ART FOR YOU’ – An affordable art event in December 2014, Manzi and Work Room Four proudly present the second ‘ART FOR YOU’ this May.
With the intention offering a space where people can buy affordable art, on sale this time will be a large collection of more than 200 sketches, photographs, illustrations, sculptures and paintings. All works are created with a range of ideas in mind, and come in different mediums, offering up questions and responses by some of the finest creative talents in Vietnam today.
“Apart from allowing people to find work they love at a price they can manage, and allowing art lovers to find out more about the local art context, the programme also will help promote talents, support the artists, thus contributing to the development of the domestic art market.” Said the organisers.
This ‘ART FOR YOU’ in May features more than 70 Vietnamese and international artists. Among returning established artists such as Nguyen Minh Thanh, Pham Ngoc Duong, Nguyen Manh Hung, Nguyen The Son, Maritta Nurmi, Ha Manh Thang, Doan Xuan Tang, Nguyen Huy An, Nguyen Phuong Linh etc., there will also be new names, exciting names, fresh names from the South, such as: Le Hoang Bich Phuong, Phan Thao Nguyen, Truong Cong Tung, Lang Do, Ngo Dinh Bao Chau, Khoa Le.
Well-known artists, such as Le Quy Tong, Luong Van Viet, Diego Cortizas del Valle, Thai Nhat Minh, Pham Khac Quang, Ngo Van Sac, Lap Phuong, will also share their work at the event.

Art for You, co-organised by the Manzi Art Space and Work Room Four, will open from 9.30am to 7.00pm daily from Friday, 8 May to Monday 11 May 2015 at Manzi Art Space, 14 Phan Huy Ich Street.
