It is our great pleasure to invite you to Jeju-Asian contemporary art special exhibition “ASIA, TALK to ASIA” at Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, 31 July – 12 October, 2015.

Participating Countries and Artists:

Total about 18 artists from 6 Countries: China + India + Indonesia + Korea + Philippine + Vietnam (artist Pham Huy Thong)

Contents & Concept of Exhibition

– Spatial composition to find out what is our days’ sense of the formative and aesthetics which was expressed on the artworks by contemporary artists who have been undergoing the changes in each society; India and China were spotlighted by Modern art, Indonesia which has New 7 Wonders of Landscape, and Philippines, Vietnam and Korea.

– Contents composition for the details of the theme; each art work conveys the nature, human and life on a story format and distinguishes the meaning of what it has and its value – the variety of art work by each countries’ artists, their conceptual context, their aiming point of artistic view.

– In each room, the major theme “Asia, talk to Asia” is divided into smaller themes: nature, human and life, again.

– As we examine through the way of living in Asia, displaying the exhibition’s artworks, it provides the direct view and experience by using contents and space’s wall-graphic images which are divided as well as connected to one other.
