From the organizers:

Have you ever been through moments in your life when you completely collapse? How do you feel then? Do you feel like you, or your life, is a mistake? Do you feel like the light out there has gone, leaving behind darkness? Do you feel like you cannot live for even just another day… and you don’t have it in you to continue for another while?

But then you get up, and there you go. And at a point, you will realize that the fact that you collapsed is necessary for life to be even more appreciated. Sometimes “fault” is not a bad thing, maybe falling down once or twice is not something embarrassing, and it has got to leave you broken, for you, to find the pieces you have been looking for. Like light exposure in film photography – you could not know that when you take that picture it will be light-exposed like that, and you could not know how it makes the simple photo you take so rich in color?

And so after half a year, the Museum of Empathy is back with the hope to bring you different stories and perspectives on life, on empathy, on how we live together. This time, the people in the Museum is the ordinary people that you can meet in everyday life.

Museum of Empathy is the space where these people have the chance to tell their stories – their thoughts, dreams, struggles, what put them at their most vulnerable and at the same time expose them at their most humane. These are shown in the most honest light. The pieces shown at the Museum of Empathy is not objects but stories & fates of the people like you, like me, like us.

Come to the Museum one more time, immerse in the stories to, even in just a moment, close your own eyes and see life through the eye of another person.

Free entry.
