Forget the bustle of the daily life for a moment, come and join our workshop “Carving Memories” to relax and enjoy a wood-carving experience with the artist Din.

With an open topic – “Carving Memories”, the workshop series will open up a creative space where the participants can let go of their thoughts and emotions, find the way back to the most memorable memories in their life and recreate them with wood-carving techniques.

Joining the workshop, you also have the chance to get to know the most basic principles in wood carving: from designing the drafts, making imprints, carving, to printing the image on dó paper and others printing techniques.

This workshop is a place where you can fulfill your love for art and have an experience to create your own artwork. It is complete free of charge, all materials have been prepared for you, and you will get to bring home both your original carving work and its print.

*About the instructor

Din (Nguyen Thi Tue Thu) graduated from Tokyo University with a Master’s degree in Printmaking and from Wako University in Japan with an Arts degree. She has more than 7 years of experience in studying and researching about wood-carving techniques in Japan.
