From the organizer:

You are cordially invited to “Angkor Hangover” (Hanoi, Vietnam), an evening of slideshow projections by participants of the 2018 Angkor Photo Workshop.

The presented works are created by 23 photographers across Asia during an intensive weeks with three groups of mentors: Katrin Koenning & Ian Teh, Veejay Rius Villafranca & Kosuke Okahara, Antoine D’Agata, Sohrab Hura & Tania Bohórquez. This projection night is a chance to get to know about Southeast Asia’s longest running photography event, as well as the open call for “From North to South and beyond: A Vietnamese photographic journey” projection curated by Matca at Angkor Photo Festival 2019.

* Angkor Hangover is a series of photography events to be held in various cities across Asia as a way to introduce the photography community to bodies of work created during the annual Angkor Photo Festival.

Since 2005, Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops has nurtured Asia’s photographic community by providing an affordable and accessible platform for professional development and exchange. The longest-running international photography event in Southeast Asia consists of professional workshops, public exhibitions, projection evenings, and other professional activities aimed at creating a space for interaction, exchange and dialogue with a focus on Asia.
