In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Fairmont Hanoi presents VỌNG – Echoes of Heritage, bringing together ceramic sculpture by Vũ Hữu Nhung and bamboo and rattan works by Trần Thược.
Rooted in heritage, memory and traditional materials, the exhibition unfolds as a dialogue between past and present, craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression.
About artists
Vũ Hữu Nhung
From the centuries-old ceramic village of Phù Lãng, Bắc Ninh, Vũ Hữu Nhung has spent years reimagining the language of traditional pottery through colour, form and surface, helping bring Phù Lãng ceramics into contemporary artistic life.
Trần Thược
Born in Ninh Bình in 1992, Trần Thược draws inspiration from nature and organic structures. For Vọng, he explores bamboo and rattan through sculptural forms shaped by rhythm, movement and transformation.
Two artists, two materials and two distinct practices come together in a shared reflection on how Vietnamese heritage continues to evolve through contemporary art.
