Nam Dinh – Exhibition “Feelings towards Life”

    On the occasion of 64th anniversary of Veterans’ Day (27/7/1947 – 27/7/2011), artist Bui Dang Thanh (from Nam Dinh) will open his 2nd solo exhibition in Nam Dinh city with the theme: Feelings towards life. The exhibition has 64 photographs, revealing feeling about life of all areas that veteran Bui Dang Thang has visited during the past 10 years. This exhibition with the theme on daily life, Bui Dang Thanh hopes to breathe new life to his pictures through his believe in the love for life and his optimism to overcome difficulties… For him, this is also a tribute to those who he had worked with during the war.

    About artist:

    Photographer Bui Dang Thanh is a veteran from American War in Vietnam. Despite the fact that he lost his right hand, with burning passion for photography, he has practiced and stuck with photography in the last 40 years. After 30 years working in artistic field, Bui Dang Thanh won many awards that many people envy.  He has won 33 international and national prizes for 20 of his art works and exhibition of thousands of works in international and national galleries. He was named EVAPA, AFIAP. Exactly 4 years ago, on the occasion of 60th anniversary of Veterans’ Day, Bui Dang Thanh also organized the first solo exhibition containing 60 art works on the theme: “Our people – Labour and Life” which was highly appreciated.
