A solo piano night at Hanoi Opera House by prize-winning pianist Nguyễn Hoàng Linh.
Born in Hanoi, Linh started playing piano at the age of 6 with her mother – Teacher with distinction Hoang Kim Dung and Teacher Trinh Nhat Anh.
She gained the best performer award of Vietnamese works in the first Autumn National Music Competition in 1990; she was awarded the excellent youngest competitor diploma in the second Autumn National Music Competition in 1993 and achieved the gold medal in the National Festival of Music in 1995.
From 1997 to 2009 she studied undergraduate and graduate of piano performance at University of Montreal under instruction of Professors such as Lise Boucher, Claude Savard and Professor – Artist of People Dang Thai Son. During the period of time studying piano in Canada, she has performed with the Orchestra of Montreal Conservatory of Music and the contemporary music group instructed by conductor Veronique Lacroix. In addition, she also participated in several summer festivals of music in Canada.
Under instruction of Professor – Artist of People Dang Thai Son, she graduated Doctorate in Piano performance.
This is her first performance in Viet Nam.
