European and Spanish Street Art

The Embassy of Spain cordially invites you to a conference titled ‘A Vision of the present outlook of European and Spanish Street Art’, given by artist 3ttman.

Both the public and different institutional strata related with contemporary art have, for the past several years, developed a growing interest in ‘Street Art’. Today nobody can deny the great artistic value of many of these creations.

3ttman has developed, during his artistic career, a style that can be defined as Pop-Trash. His choice of colors and style of composition produce great visual impacts for the viewer. As an admirer of Picasso, Matisse and El Bosco, he uses their iconographies and mixes them with images from magazines or Warner and Disney’s cartoon characters, infusing them with a new life. He is internationally well-known, having participated in several important projects, with the ‘Tate Modern Walking Tour’ within the framework of the ‘London Long Weekend’ organized by the London Tate Modern Museum being the most outstanding one.
