The 16th Vietnam Film Festival will take place in HCMC with the participation of delegations from China, Laos, Cambodia, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, the US, Finland and Singapore.
The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee under the title ‘for a Vietnamese cinematography in the renovation and integration process’.
It is expected to provide a venue for artists to exchange experience and filmmakers to boost cooperation for the benefit of Vietnam’s cinema industry in the new period. Viewers at the festival will have a chance to watch the new movies and meet celebrities.
