A major exhibition of calligraphy will take place at the Temple of Literature to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi.

The exhibition will open on the afternoon of 4th October and will be held at the Thai Hoc school yard. Thai Hoc’s whole school yard will be modified into the octagonal house. Also, 200 lanterns will be hung around Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam.

The organizers will showcase 250 calligraphic pictures of difference size on paper, on pottery, on bamboo and on many different materials.

Many famous Vietnamese calligraphers will participate in the exhibition.
