Synopsis:
Tunis 1942, Nour and Myriam, 16 years old, are friends from their childhood. They live in the same building in a poor quarter where Jews and Muslims share life in harmony. The two girls have secret desire to have the other’s life. Nour regrets not being able to go to school like her friend while Myriam dreams of the engagement between Nour and her cousin Khaled, she dreams of love and a handsome prince. Unfortunately, Khaled cannot find a job. The engagement is lengthened and the perspective of a family seems impossible to come true.
