The Indian Business Chamber, the Indian Embassy alongwith the Indian community are going to celebrate one of the biggest Indian festivals – the ‘Festival of Lights’ – ‘Diwali’ in Hanoi.

Over the years, the celebration of this festival has become a permanent fixture in the capital’s cultural calendar, growing from strength to strength each year. Last year, more than 1200 distinguished guests from all walks of life including the Government, business, professional and cultural communities, and especially the vibrant expat community attended the festivities. The event has now become one of the most sought after cultural events by the crème – de – la – crème of Hanoi.

This year, a grand cultural extravaganza is being organized over a weekend evening, which will feature Indian dances and music, fashion shows, games, lucky draws to liven up the event. There will also be theme stalls, handicrafts and a smattering of Indian gourmet delicacies and drinks to spoil one’s palate.
