From Manzi:

A reminder of the past; A replacement of what once was; A longing for the impossible.

Manzi art space is proud to present the ‘Frozen Dreams’ by Hanoi based visual artist Vương Thạo, who was selected as one of the South East Asia region’s top ten artists by the Asia Pacific Breweries Foundation Signature Art Prize – the most prestigious art award in the region.

Known for his “fossilized” replicas of Hanoi’s old quarter, village gates and bridges, this time, at manzi, Thạo will present a very interesting divergence in his “living fossil” concept and a series of paintings on dó paper “Bodies and Dreams” which have been highly appreciated by local and international collectors. The ‘Frozen Dreams’ is expected to be a delightful mini show for art lovers of Hanoi this autumn.
